“Its hard to get people to overcome the thought that they have to take care of themselves first. It’s hard to get players to give in to the group and become selfless instead of selfish.”

THE MOUNTAIN VIEW BRONCOS PROGRAM
Fitness
We believe that by developing our players off the court we set them up for success on the court and also help prevent injuries. As a member of our club you will have access to a strength and conditioning program specifically designed for our teams by a strength and conditioning coach designed for each gender and age group.
Practice
Our practice sessions are held twice a week at the Ralph Klein Center in Olds. No matter what your current skill level, our fundamentally focused program will improve you game. We saw great gains over this past year as our club players went back to their school programs with some of our girls winning 1A provincials!
League Games
We know you want to play. This year we are looking to get each team into league games either locally or in Red Deer.
Quality Gear
Each player will receive a MV Broncos branded gear to keep, the exact designs and items are still being finalised. Game jerseys and shorts will be returned at the end of each season.
Post Secondary Development
Looking at playing ball at the ACAC or CIS level? Our U17 boys and girls coaches are current ACAC and international coaches with connections across Canada and the US to help get you where you want to go. Check out our coaches bios.
DISCIPLINE
Broncos know the value of discipline. It is a key attribute to success in sport and in life. When the going gets tough, our teams get tougher.
FUNDAMENTALS
The Mountain View Broncos coaches know the value of fundamental skill development. No matter what your age or skill level, you must be able to master the fundamentals of the game in order to make you and your team better.
MINDSET
Broncos know that mindset matters. An athletes mindset sets the stage for either a performance goal or a learning goal. Do you know the difference?
